Introduction to Permaculture Design Scholarship Opportunities!

Are you or someone you know interested in learning more about the ecological design approach that mimics natural systems? Fields Without Fences is proud to offer two scholarship opportunities to attend our upcoming weekend long intensive, Introduction to Permaculture Design: Learning to Design with Nature to two deserving budding permaculturists!

Join us for a weekend long permaculture design intensive where we will explore foundational concepts, core ethics, techniques, and approaches for small to large scale land management and design strategies for maximizing productive output and minimizing waste. The program will be hosted at Fields Without Fences located in Frenchtown, NJ, where we will explore in-the-ground applications on our 6 year old site, including water management systems, ponds, polycultures, forest gardens, and successional management strategies. Beginners will benefit from this intensive aimed at empowering you to develop and refine your approach and interaction with living systems. Let this course be the fertile soil to grow your understanding of permaculture design from the ground up!

  • This course runs 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday & Sunday.

  • Breakfast refreshments are included with this course. Lunch is BYO.

  • Space for camping is available to out-of-town attendees
