From the Field: Nature always has a good idea

Five years ago I planted a patch of yellow and black raspberry in a location I felt well suited this native. They survived, fruited, but never started to crawl, nor readily expand, nor thrive the way I might have hoped. Fortunately, some industrious bird, or small mammal, or highly spirited wind gust, had the good sense to take those fruits and seeds and start a patch just a few rows over... and finally we have a robust patch happily spreading itself about!

Wild farming is farming collaboratively with the plants, the birds, the squirrels, and the wind. Nature always has a good idea 🌿
